Leadership Team
Doug Edwards, MBA, EPC, SMCP, CEA
Co-Founder
Doug Edwards is a financial professional, entrepreneur, and long-time Rotarian. Through his firm, Wealthy Way Solutions, he has spent more than 20 years helping every day Canadians achieve financial independence and plan for their futures.
With family ties to the Kincardine area, Doug saw both the need and the opportunity to address the region’s housing shortage. His first-hand understanding of the financial hurdles faced by middle-income households inspired the creation of Small Meadows Community, the flagship development for Small Home Communities Inc.
In addition to his financial expertise, Doug is an experienced residential landlord. This practical experience informs his focus on making attainable housing work in real terms for both homeowners and renters. At Small Home Communities Inc., he leads the financial and community vision, ensuring that every project balances attainability and long-term value.
